Fleur de Calcaire

The Winery

Organic Wine

Fleur de Calcaire is made from a single-parcel vineyard on top of the limestone plateau of Saint-Vivien, in the South-West of France, a few kilometers from Saint-Emilion. In fact our altitude (85m to 100m), soil profile (clay & limestone) and cool micro-climate are similar to those of the upper hills of Saint-Emilion.

It is a wine focused on Terroir: made from Merlot and Cabernet-Franc grapes grown on 8 hectares of rocky limestone soils, certified organic, and aged only partially in barrels, in order to keep the natural minerality which comes from our soils.
